Grown Up's Reading Circle: The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse

Join us at Unbridled Peace Farm for a four-week reading circle made just for grown-ups — a safe, warm place to set the week down, read together, and breathe. Each Friday we gather around Charlie Mackesy's The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse, reading a little, talking a little, sipping tea, and nibbling something good in the gentle company of our herd.

The book is small and the questions inside it are big, so there is plenty to sit with together. No preparation is needed and you do not have to read ahead. Come for the whole journey.

Featured Book

The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and the Horse, by author Charlie Mackesy is a beautifully illustrated story told through the wanderings and conversations of four unlikely friends. Tender, funny, and quietly profound, it speaks to anyone navigating doubt, change, or the simple need to be cared for. It is a book for children that turns out to be just as much a book for grown-ups.

Read with heart, give with heart.

$80 for all four sessions includes your own copy of the book to keep, nibbles and beverages. Every registration also helps fund our free UP4Reading tutoring sessions for children in our community, so when you sign up, you are also helping a local child build the confidence to read.

Tea and nibbles provided. Come as you are. All are welcome.
